Zhongmei Wantai and KenKone Medical Technology have jointly developed the “AI-Based Endoscopy Systems,” which has won the “2023 IIA (International Innovation Awards) International Innovation Award” in the Services and Solutions category. This product combines the latest technology from Zhongmei Wantai, Taiwan’s leading touch tablet manufacturer, with KenKone Medical’s AI system, enabling real-time label generation, database updates, and report transcription during endoscopic procedures, thereby improving medical efficiency and quality. The “2023 IIA International Innovation Awards” is an international innovation competition organized by the Enterprise Asia, aiming to recognize outstanding companies and projects with innovative practices. This year, over 200 entries from 20 countries participated, and after rigorous selection by an international panel of professional judges, 34 companies were recognized. Among them, Zhongmei Wantai and KenKone Medical’s “AI-Based Endoscopy Systems” stood out in the “Services and Solutions” category and received high praise from the judges.

The “AI-Based Endoscopy Systems” is an innovative product that combines hardware and software. It consists of Zhongmei Wantai’s medical mobile touch series computers WMP-22P/24P and KenKone Medical’s AI system applications. The WMP-22P/24P is a medical-grade touch tablet equipped with the 12th generation Intel® Core™ U processor, featuring high performance, low power consumption, waterproof and dustproof capabilities, and antibacterial and disinfecting properties, suitable for various medical scenarios. KenKone Medical’s AI system application is an artificial intelligence software designed specifically for endoscopic examinations, capable of dynamically generating labels during surgery, automatically updating the medical database, and supporting real-time AI transcription reports. This product can be installed on endoscopic carts, allowing doctors to obtain relevant information and suggestions while operating the endoscope, thereby enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of examinations.
